WCO works with local church leaders to arrange Biblical training for pastors and youth
The WCO helps the national, indigenous Christian Pastors and leaders in their own countries accurately share the Gospel. We partner with them to distribute Bibles, organize regular discipleship training, and coordinate annual events where our team visits, trains, and encourages our international brethren.

WCO Board Member Mark Luce and his wife Kathy lead an international team into Tanzania for a training and outreach each year. The team consists of Pastor Eddie Fernandes who leads the International Church of Portugal, Evangelist Sohail Peter from Lahore, Pakistan, FPCT Arch Bishop Stevie Mulenga from Tanzania, Pastor Jason Rubinda from Tanzania, and the Luces. It has been nicknamed the "A Team" or the "Agape Team" as we share the love and hope we have in Christ and build the body to do the same.
The A Team typically travels to two or more remote areas of Tanzania each year. About 800 Pastors and young adult leaders participate in the training at each location. The training has four session on each of four days with one set of sessions for Pastors and one for youth leaders. Thus, 32 training sessions in all. See our July newsletter describing our trip in June 2024.
We have made it a priority to purchase and distribute Bibles to the young adults attending our training. About 1000 Swahili Bibles are distributed each year. The young people are hungry for the word but very few have Bibles. Thus, they are very dependent on what others teach without the ability to confirm the teaching in the Word. They are always extremely grateful to receive this gift. Thank you for providing the funds that allow us to do this.
Local universities are also visited and there is a great work of the Spirit in the students who attended his presentations.
